This may be our last chance to save the rookery

Today we ask if you will please sign this petition to the township to try to save the 40-year great blue heron rookery and the mature forest that surrounds it from imminent destruction.

On Tuesday, April 12, the Rochester Township Planning & Zoning Committee will decide on the “pre-plat” recommendation before it goes to the Township Board on Thursday, April 14. This is likely the last chance we have to try to preserve this wildlife treasure and natural area. 

Please send it to ALL of your neighbors, friends and family who you think may be interested in supporting this cause. The more signatures we get, the greater our likelihood of stopping the destruction. This is our last chance.
