The Rochester Township Election is on March 8th

Local elections matter immensely when it comes to shaping land use decisions, and we have an opportunity right around the corner to raise community voices in the upcoming Rochester Township Board election on March 8th.

One of our partner organizations, Faith in Minnesota, is hosting a canvass event in Rochester Township this Saturday, February 26, 1:30-4:30PM to get the word out about this election and encourage our neighbors to vote. 

Registered participants will receive an email on Friday from Jack Dudley, the Faith in MN organizer in Rochester.

Township Board elections will take place at the Township Hall, 4111 11th Ave SW, at these times:

Saturday, March 5th, 2022, 10AM-Noon (absentee or in person)

Tuesday, March 8th, 2022, 5PM - 8PM (in person)

We hope to elect Township representatives who listen to and respond to their community’s concerns, rather than “pro-development” candidates who approve projects that have the capacity to damage our health and destroy our environment.
