Tuesday, April 13th, 7 PM: Rochester Township Planning and Zoning meeting (UPDATE: public hearing cancelled)

The topic of the threatened great blue heron rookery will next be discussed at the Rochester Township Planning and Zoning meeting April 13th after 7 pm.

Information for this development should be posted on the TCPA website at https://tcpamn.org/943-2/ (Main website link is here.)

The meeting will be held with the planning commission members present along with staff and two individuals from each of the applications (Mayo Woodlands, Millie Meadows second, and Pavilion Estates). All others will call in at (551)240-6019.

The Rochester Township board meets the second Thursday of each month. Therefore this topic more than likely will be discussed before the township board May 14th after 7pm. Monthly agendas are found approximately 1 week in advance on our website at https://www.rochester-township.com. The call in number for that meeting is (978) 990-5000 with access code 253635. That meeting may also allow for an in person meeting with masks and appropriate social distancing in the township garage. This will be determined in the near future.

UPDATE: Per Randy Staver, Clerk / Treasurer, Rochester Township: Due to the Olmsted County Commission postponing the LUPA decision regarding Pavilion Estates until May, the Rochester Township Planning and Zoning Commission has cancelled the Pavilion Estates* public hearing originally scheduled for April 13, 2021 at 7:00 pm.

*previously known as Condor Estates
